NoCo’s Best Christmas Light Displays!

Magic is in the air! And what a better way to experience it then by exploring some dazzling light displays?!


1. Old Town, Fort Collins

There’s no better way to experience some holiday magic than under the lights of Old Town, Fort Collins. Stroll (or simply drive!) down College Avenue to see thousands of twinkling lights, and, while you’re at it, grab a hot cocoa or a dinner out with your loved ones! You can also head to Old Town Square, where Santa’s Workshop and the ice skating rink is located. All those dazzling lights are sure to give you all the holiday feels!

2. The North Pole at Pelican Farms

This home in Windsor has over 70,000 lights synced to music. Shows begin every 30 minutes starting at 5:30 every night. Turn your radios to 95.5 fm and enjoy! They are also an official Toys for Tots drop off location! Consider donating a new, unwrapped toy and help them spread the joy of Christmas. 2106 Grain Bin Dr, Windsor.

3. NOCO Winter Wonderland 

Located off County Road 36, this drive-thru Christmas experience is perfect for family outings! Grab some hot cocoa, jump in the car, and come enjoy a 1-mile loop full of holiday lights, animations, and Christmas music. If you’re feeling extra festive, decorate your car or wear your favorite Christmas sweaters! Grab tickets here!

3. Garden of Lights

You just can’t miss these brilliant, garden-inspired light displays, located at the Gardens on Spring Creek. Displays include glowing flowers, vines, color blossoms, and more. Grab your friends and family and come explore these hundreds of thousands of lights! Close out this half-mile loop with a cup of hot cocoa and a visit with Santa. This event is a NoCo favorite! 4. Front Range Village

Front Range Village is a favorite for local shopping, and it only gets better at Christmastime, when the rows of trees are lit with thousands of string lights! A walk or drive through this area is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. For directions, click here.

5. Winter Wonderlights

Put Loveland’s Winter Wonderlights on your list for your next Christmas Adventure. This park, decked out with string lights, LED snowflakes, sculptures, and a 23 foot Christmas Tree, is the perfect event to put you and yours in the holiday spirit!! 30 minute music and light shows run each night, featuring your favorite Christmas songs synced to moving lights. This event is free, but bring a few cans with you to support the Food Bank for Larimer County! Click here for more details!

6. Christmas Walk in the Woods

This loop, located in Loveland, is complete with plenty of holiday-inspired light displays that make perfect backdrops for photos with your family and friends! You can expect to see an Elf Workshop, Santa’s house, a Christmas Truck, and more. Bundle up and come take a stroll! Santa will also be there on select dates. Click here to grab tickets!

7. Homes!

Not to brag, but NoCo locals go all out for the holiday season, and one of the best ways to experience the magic of Christmas is to visit the light displays they set up at their homes!
